Week 7 completed.

Here is my Subtractive City Painting.

I'm definitely doing something wrong...πŸ˜– the first layer was not right, on the last layer I spent (again) much more time than 1 hour, but I didn't feel the passage of time at all! ⏱️

I probably try too hard to make my paintings good...

Anyway, painting the city was long but fun 🀩 Mixing all the shades of gray without having black and white put together was a delightful challenge πŸ˜…

Week 8: Portrait Proportions from Various Angles

Here are some of my quick 10-20 minute studies of portraits with the head tilted in different directions.

I put my perfectionism aside and stuck to the time allowed (that's why the level of similarity is so low... πŸ™ˆπŸ€ ) but it was fun! πŸ˜ƒ

Week 7: Crowd od People with Charcoal

This was probably the hardest job so far... I consciously drew shapes, not faces or hats, but the amount of detail overwhelmed me. Again - I wanted good and it turned out how it turned out. Is it even possible to draw such a crowd in 2 hours? πŸ™ƒ

Week 7: City Subtraction Drawing in Charcoal

It just took me 2 hours to draw the lines, measure and watch the perspective!

With the refinement I lost track of time...again! πŸ˜…πŸ™ˆ

But it was pure pleasure 🀩 I like all these architectural details!

I went back to my graphite perspective drawing and added shading and midtones as Milan Art suggested. It really feels good - the final product feeling πŸ˜‰

Week 7: Perspective Drawing in Graphite

Oh my! Time to start week 7! πŸ₯³

I chose a city with a one-point perspective. At first I felt overwhelmed by the amount of detail but I tried to ignore this inner scream! πŸ™ˆ There were moments when I drew upside down and kept telling myself that it wasn't difficult. πŸ™ƒπŸ˜…

It was a biiiig challenge, fortunately I did not get discouraged πŸ’ͺ😎 I meant well, but it turned out how it turned out...
