Another glass prompt

Week 4 second still life painting- limited pallet plus two. How do I fix the rim? And make the pumpkin pop a bit more.. Well I took the advice and did something challenging- arghh. Advice welcome.

Week 4 charcoal still life . fiesta time. I stopped at the time limit. Had a lovely garlic in the cilantro but I laid my hand in it and wiped it out. So I’m left with sketchy cilantro. But actually, I like the way it turned out the cilantro anyway. Any suggestions on how to improve my values would be great.
