As I wait for week 9 to open, here’s another one just for me. I really like the fat over lean technique and I’m continuing to realize that my style involves bold brush strokes 😂. I call this one “Stepping in the Spotlight.”
Can we discuss composition? I am confused even after watching the lesson. If the main subject is on one of the six points and more in focus, does that mean other subjects should or should not lie on the other points?

Monster Portrait in progress😅 I already learned: you can’t thin yellow opaque paint and take out highlights and maybe next time a full face portrait😅

Week 12 foreshortened figures.
Patience was a little low on these, I cannot do the tiny little faces right. And to more practice on faces it is.

White on White & black on black assignments. I wasn't a fan of alla prima because wet on wet gets muddy but these were more enjoyable than last time.
